We spent the evening exploring downtown Peoria before heading to Donovan Park, where we were rewarded with the most gorgeous sunset. These two trusted me completely with locations, and it gave us the dreamiest light and backdrops to work with. More than anything, though, they made my job easy. Their connection is so natural, and they had each other laughing and smiling the entire evening.
Getting to know Laura and Noah felt like spending time with old friends, and I already can’t wait to celebrate them on their wedding day!

Over the last 15 years of documenting my couples on the best day of their lives, I’ve met so many amazing people who quickly turned into friends. I hope that can be our story, too.
On the rare occasion that I’m not capturing a special moment, you can catch me spending my time with an incredible man who makes me laugh until I cry. I also tend to believe that a house is not a home until paw prints paint the floors. And admittedly, I cry at most movies, especially the romantic ones. Editing days consist of Dr. Pepper and take-out, while days off require country drives and visiting local wineries to listen to live music and take in a golden sunset. Hands down, it’s one of the best parts about Central Illinois.
